In light of recent events and the social-media backlash growing stronger around the treatment of minorities, MineMR investigated sentiments among those of ethnic background. According to our research among millennials today, those of non-white or mixed-ethnic background feel that their ethnic community frequently face racism or prejudice in some form. This sentiment is shared by the majority of African-Americans and those of Hispanic, Latino or Spanish origin. While fewer people of Asian or Pacific Islander background perceive to have faced racism or prejudice, they feel the strongest that their community is not represented in the political space.
